Railer netters send entire team to state

The Newton High School boys’ tennis team is sending all four entries to the state tournament after a second-place finish Friday at the Class 5A regionals at the Phil Scott Tennis Courts and the Ward Tennis Center.

Salina Central play selected for conference

The cast of Salina Central High School’s production of the comedy “Funny Money” has been selected to perform the play at the State Thespian Conference on Jan. 6 at Wichita’s Century II Performing Arts and Convention Center.
