SALINA — Hays High School senior golfer Aaron Stewart tied for first place Friday at the Salina South Invitational, but ended up with a fourth-place medal on a scorecard playoff.

The Garden City High School boys golf team captured first place at the Guymon, Okla., Invitational on Friday while the Lady Buffs soccer team earned a convincing 6-1 road victory at Wichita Southeast and the GCHS girls swimming team took second at the Salina South Invitational.
