Railer soccer squad falls short to Central
The Kansas Basketball Coaches Association released its newest rankings Monday afternoon. The most noticeable changes for area teams comes in Class 2A, where the Plainville boys dropped three spots, suffering their first loss of the season to non-KSHSAA-affiliated WIchita-Word of Life, 63-48.

A Look Back
Through the first five weeks of the season, the Hays High School football program started 4-1 with a 24-21 loss to Garden City and four victories against squads that finished a combined 8-29.

SALINA — The Hays High School volleyball team lost to Salina Central, 25-14, 25-16, in the first round of the Class 5A Salina Central sub-state on Saturday afternoon.
The Hays High School girls’ tennis team has already enjoyed the greatest season in school history. The Indians, under first-year coach Brett Jensen, won the first WAC girls’ tennis title at Hays High last week.
